Toshiba 1.8-inch HDD

Toshiba has announced a new family of 1.8-inch hard disk drive which is to be used in portable devices such as PMP, digital video cameras and other consumer electronics products.
The new Toshiba’s 1.8-inch HDD family comes with high storage capacity of 160B, offers better ruggedness and durability than larger form-factor hard drives. They have also been designed to be more superior in power consumption efficiency and seek operation (quietest).
The 160GB storage capacity allows to store up to either 45,000 digital photos, 42,000 digital music files or 130 downloaded digital videos – all in portable gadgets about the size of a credit card.
