SanDisk Extreme Pro CF Card
SanDisk has announced their latest CF memory card, called SanDisk Extreme Pro CompactFlash card, which has topped the read and write speeds of all the high-capacity memory cards.
The SanDisk Extreme Pro CF card is equipped with the SanDisk Powercore memory controller, which is a memory controller that allows the new CF cards to have read and write speeds up 90MB/s, a figure that doubles the speed performance of existing memory cards.
Besides delivering super high speeds of read and write, the SanDisk memory controller also ensures your photos are stored to the cards safely, eliminating the worries of most photographers. These new extreme Pro CF cards will be shipped in capacities ranging from 16GB to 64GB.
The new SanDisk CF cards have also been emphasized with overall card durability. Having the PowerCore memory controller also lets the new CF cards have fewer individual components on the card’s printed circuit board. Unfortunately, price and availability of these new extreme pro CF cards have NOT been announced yet.
