Keeping in mind all the worst possible problems faced by cyclists, Chris Boardman, 40, has designed a bicycle that can prevail. It is armed with inflatable tires that can keep punctures at bay. So that takes care of punctures – a cyclists’ primary nemesis. But there’s also the problem of theft that haunts them. So to ensure that their bicycles remain safe Boardman has incorporated a cool fingerprint technology to make sure that it’s only the owner who uses the bike. If you’re wondering what’s got Chris Boardman so emotionally attached to bicycles then you would be pleasantly surprise to know that he’s a former British gold medalist cyclist.

According to Chris Boardman, building the ‘Intelligent’ bicycle (that’s what he calls it) cost him a whopping $165,000. However, if this bike were to his the assembly line, he claims that the price could easily fall down to $3,300.
