Photobucket

Phil McGee of McGee Racing Cams, Indiana, PA has made a drag car using a Harley Davidson engine. This 17 ft long car was built using a Harley-Davidson Twin Cam 88 engine and 5-speed transmission. The carbureted engine was completely rebuilt and is not yet broken in. It even has a NHRA certified chrome chassis, fiberglass body with a lexan windscreen. This drag car has not made its debut on any racing car yet, but it is geared for the ΒΌ mile with a 22-tooth front sprocket, a 60-tooth rear split sprocket, and a 530 drive chain.

It can be driven by an adult in Pro or Pro-Stock classes or, with some minor pedal modifications, by younger drivers in the Junior class. It has a 5-point safety harness. It even has a vacuum operated fuel pump, hydraulic clutch, and the MSD ignition is digital and has an RPM activated window switch. Phil McGee has all the parts required to make this car and the asking price is $18,000.
