Wikipedia as a 5000 Page Book

Photobucket

Taking old scriptures, dictionaries and diaries and uploading the text online for safer, more accessible storage has been a norm for the last few years. However, coming in as a complete surprise for knowledge miners, we have this Wikipedia book by Rob Matthews that features 5000 pages. The book looks impossible to read since it is 1 foot 7 inches tall and it doesn’t have a search box either (duh). There are over 400 featured articles in the book. Besides the size and unreadability of the book, the most heart aching fact is that it features just 0.01% of Wikipedia. Now that’s a sad fact to live on.

Rob Matthews now plans to sell this book. I really wonder who the target buyers might be. I prefer the online version over this one anyday.
