We have news that Seagate is launching not one but two new secure storage devices. Both BlackArmor NAS 420 and NAS 440 are known as the fully-contained, out-of-the box solutions with user-serviceable, hot-swappable drives that are RAID-configurable 0/1/5/10 arrays designed to scale up to 50 networks. Both the devices come with a 1.2 GHz processor, 256 MB memory, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and four USB 2.0 ports. The NAS 420 has a 2TB capacity and costs $ 799.99 and the NAS 440 is available in either 4TB which costs $ 1,199.99 or a 6TB costing $ 1,699.99. An 8TB version is due to be released in May.
