Tablet PC Yuma

From IndoCastle Media :

Trimble has introduced Yuma, a tablet PC into the list of the company’s line of rugged devices. This PC offers a seven-inch WVGA touchscreen that is capable of sunlight reading, while the computing is handled by a 1.6 GHz Atom processor. Data is stored on the 32GB solid state drive to avoid the use of moving parts. The PC can be operated under temperatures varying from -30oC to 60oC. Connectivity is provided by integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0. SDIO and ExpressCard slots are also available for additional components. It also sports two geo-tag enabled digital cameras and a built-in GPS receiver.

The Tablet PC Yuma meets the military standards for impact, vibration and humidity resistance. Trimble claims that the Tablet PC Yuma can be submerged in the water upto a depth of one meter. It is expected to be available sometime in April and there is still no information on price.
