Electric cars are the future, however, going electric comes at the cost of going silent, something that car lovers hate. Industrial designer Mathieu Lewis has come up with a concept that allows car lovers to go green without sacrificing the thrill they get while driving a noisy sports car. The RT20 is designed to be adaptable and reconfigurable which can help it perform in both normal and race mode.
Designed to be powered by liquid hydrogen, the car carries a super-insulated fuel tank. The hydrogen fuels a twin-turbo V6 engine promising a power-driven ride. The car is no less in safety and comfort features. The conventional spring-based suspension is replaced by electromagnets for better response. The response can be adjusted even more by regulating the current passing through the magnets.
To keep the driver of this green supercar safe, Mathieu has designed a hi-tech key that he calls the “I-Key.” The key stores driver and car information like the driving license number of the driver, the medical vitals and the vehicle data. In the event of an accident, rescue personnel can use the key to get the valued information.
